At Lutz & Associates Consulting, our team is backed by more than 30+ years of hands-on experience with successful projects of all types and sizes, including creating plans, approving and consulting with builders, meetings and advising your staff, and walking projects through to completion. We are an independent company located in Punta Gorda, Florida. We offer innovative solutions for seemingly complicated issues that involve multiple codes and standards.
We have built a reputation as a very efficient and reliable fire protection consulting firm, so give us a call at +1.949.466.8894 to find out more. We visualize problems through the eyes of those we serve!
We believe in a collaborative and client-focused approach to engineering. By working closely with our clients, we are able to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
We provide written and graphic Cannabis Safety Plans that address all compliance requirements for clients seeking city, county and state permits. Our plans score very high and include a graphic diagram showing fire extinguisher locations and evacuation routes as required by jurisdictions.
We are a recognized "Preferred Provider" for all CUPA and CERS submittals and hazardous materials disclosures for LAFD permits.
All chemicals need to be classified with respect to their individual hazards, so a determination
can be made relative to the Maximum Allowable Quantity (MAQ). This will allow the proper
fire and life safety protection systems to be in place. We will perform a MAQ review considering controls areas, open vs. closed use, and indoor vs. outside storage.
This document is intended to provide direction for submitting requests for use of an

Our team collaborates with architects, developers, owners, construction firms, design-build teams and jurisdictions. Not only do we stay apprised of regulatory updates needed for your projects, but we also work on creative applications for modern materials and methods that have not yet been widely adopted in building and fire code regulations.
This plan may be required by the AHJ for the creation and maintenance of fire department access roadways, access walkways to and around buildings, and hydrant quantity and placement as required by the 2022 California Fire and Building Codes (also known as CFC and CBC, respectively) and as amended by local ordinance
